your question on why mahape leads…Then you must know that mahape is a hub for D.A.K.C and other internet companies which means all the reliance communications traffic flows from here…thus the google recognizing whole reliance traffic as occurring from mahape…

This could also serve as a barometer of computer literacy in India as most illiterate people would type ‘www.@#%.com’ in their search engines….

Internet? A place for guys to vent out their feelings! Hahaha! That’s a good one!

I think the answer is more base. More simple. Something to the effect of psychographics more than demographics and geographics.

Can I make the assumption that a large chunk of porn surfers are pre-pubescent and pubescent teen boys and girls? And in April, they have just gotten done with their exams. So they rid themselves of the exam frustration by reverting to porn. Also, exam time calls for an abstinence from sensual pleasures, which results to a heightened usage pattern upon closure of the same.

Also, an alarming stat shows that if it is to be ended, most couples end up terminating their relationship (co-incidentally) within the first three months of the year [vague observational pattern development]. Can this be the cause of the steep increment? Makes us wonder.

Did you check the Internet usage statistics of dofferent states. I mean, what is the distribution of the people using Internet, states-wise and city-wise? Agreed, Mumbai and Delhi will figure high on the list, but among the non-metro states, is Madhya Pradesh the highest? May be.

If that is so, then the issue that why these states record the highest number of searches for sex.com may be attributed to the fact that sex-literacy in these states (Madhya Pradesh) is absymally low. No discs, no bars. Probably, Internet is the only place for the guys here to vent out their feelings – and hence the stats.

Regarding Delhi occupying the second place, well , you just have to ask about Delhi guys from a Delhi girl. . Trust me. I’d have thought of Delhi on #1, actually

However, I do not understand the monthly phenomenon. Ummm.. mating month ?
